Birkey’s Construction was recently awarded the State of Illinois Joint Purchasing Contract for 580SM series backhoes, 435 series III skid steers, and the 521 and 821 series wheel loaders available for purchase through Central Management Services. Birkey’s carries many different brands of construction equipment in addition to Case, including Wacker, Sweepster, K-Tec, and Trimble Spectra Lasers as well as many attachment companies.

Birkey’s is also proud to announce the M400T is among the first wave of new military skid steers to be produced by Case as part of a 10-year, $160 million contract awarded by the U.S. Army TACOM (Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command). The contract calls for more than 1,900 Case skid steers and nearly 1,500 compact track loaders. Case has also received an order to produce an additional 150 armor-ready backhoe loaders (BHLs) this year. This new order is part of a five-year contract with the U.S. Army for a total of 626 Case BHLs.
