TRUCK DRIVER
Job Description
The Truck Driver represents the company to its customers for the purpose of efficiently picking up and delivering Agricultural and Construction machinery, equipment, parts, and supplies for the company. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating and maintaining assigned company vehicles. The essential functions of the Truck Driver include:
- Pick-up, delivery and transport Agriculture and Construction equipment, machinery, parts, and supplies for the company and its customers.
- Maintain a record of all pick-ups and deliveries including required signatures.
- Safely load and unload the delivery vehicle.
- Assist in scheduling equipment pick-up and delivery times and dates.
- Oversee the condition of equipment being delivered to ensure high standards.
- Follows all safety rules, procedures, and practices at all times.
- Maintain all assigned vehicles in good, clean working condition. Performs necessary maintenance.
- Provide operating instructions to customers at the time of delivery.
- Provide operating instructions to customers at the time of delivery.
- Assist service technicians as available.
- Assist in setup and assembly of equipment.
- Keep Service Manager informed of daily progress and accomplishments.

Requirements:
- Class ‘A’ CDL with clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience.
- Ability to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
- Ability to meet all D.O.T. regulations and certifications at all times.
- Ability to meet company insurance requirements
Physical Requirements:

- Ability to get around the dealership and grounds for various tasks.
- The employee would normally lift or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to tolerate up and down movement with bending or stooping including reaching above and below shoulder height with arms and hands.
- Ability to be on one’s feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate equipment including forklift or other power equipment as necessary.
- Ability to climb step up to 25” high.
- Must meet health assessment requirements.
Compensation:
