Birkey’s Farm Store Announces Les Callais’ Retirement and Chris Rewerts Movement into Sales
Dear Valued Customer,
There has been a lot of exciting news happening at Birkey’s in Henry. I would like to inform you about some internal changes that will happen at the beginning of 2023.
All of us at Birkey’s want to congratulate Les Callais on his retirement. Les has served as a salesman for 11 years at Birkey’s in Henry and has worked in the AG industry for 42 years. Les has made an impact and formed genuine relationships with each of his customers. There are even some that have been with him since the start of his career. I am so thankful to have worked alongside Les over the past several years.
Les said, “I want to thank each of my customers for their support, business, and especially their friendship over the years. I also want to thank the people I currently work with and those who have worked alongside me over the years. They’ve been a pleasure to work with through all the changes and improvements in equipment.”
Les will be retiring on Friday, December 30th and to celebrate his next adventure, Birkey’s in Henry will host a retirement party for Les on Tuesday, December 20th from 1 pm to 4 pm. We’d like to invite any customers or friends to come out and congratulate him on his retirement.
Following Les’s retirement, Chris Rewerts will move into the sales position on January 1st, 2023. Chris began working at Birkey’s and has been a road technician for the last 19 years.
Chris commented, “Les has been a great example of hard work and how to take care of our customers. I’m going to strive to maintain what Les has already built with our customers and will continue building genuine relationships with new customers.”
Chris will be working with Les during the last few weeks of the year in an effort to make the transition as smooth as possible for customers.
